As a high street perfumery that was established over 20 years ago, we often get asked ‘What is the most popular perfume for women at the moment’. With our experience and vast range, we spend a lot of consultation time with customers in-store helping them to find their ‘new’ favourite fragrance. The best way to decide on a new fragrance is to visit a perfumery like ours but for those who can’t visit our shop, we have listed 10 of what we would classify as the most popular perfume brands for women and men’s aftershave, catering to various age ranges.

Released towards the end of 2022 this perfume by Paco Rabanne was by far the best selling fragrance for women over Christmas and still remains so now in 2023. Available in 3 sizes – 30ml, 50ml and the largest at 80ml. A great selling point with this fragrance is that it vegan friendly and the bottles are refillable with a large 200ml refill bottle that can also be purchased. It is a floral yet woody perfume with top notes of Mango & Bergamot, middle notes of Jasmine & Olibanum, base notes of Vanilla & Sandalwood. It has been marketed towards young women in their 20s and 30s and we were seeing this with purchases in store.
Also now there is a new parfum version which is proving to be very popular – Fame Parfum
A perfume that has been around for relatively long time now – launched in 2005 but still remains a firm favourite with women in their 30s and upwards. A very long lasting amber woody fragrance with note of Jasmine, Cashmere & Amber. Available in 3 sizes – 30ml, 60ml & 90ml. All sizes are refillable with a large 100ml refill bottle also available or it can be refilled in-store at our Mugler Alien refill station.
Launched in 2018 this fragrance is still the most popular in the Ariana Grande perfume range. Traditionally our best selling fragrance for teenagers and younger women.
Although slightly sweet, this perfume is still creamy and marshmallow like with hints of coconut, praline and vanilla. Frequently sold out due to high demand, Ariana Grande Cloud comes in 3 sizes of Eau de Parfum- 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. Plus occasional seasonal gift sets but they sell out fast!
A modern classic – launched in 2014 this remains a best seller year after year. This is a long lasting Amber Vanilla fragrance with the most prominent note being coffee. It is perfume that can be worn all year round but we find it is most suited to the cooler months and evenings. Since the original was launched it has had many variations following it, such as Black Opium Illicit Green, Neon, and new launch for 2023 Black Opium Le Parfum. Also a very popular scented hair mist is available that complements the Eau de Parfum spray perfectly or as an affordable gift or introduction to the range for those on a budget.
A great seller for the last few years – this Amber Floral fragrance comes in this iconic Stiletto shaped bottle. A long-lasting sexy oriental fragrance that can be worn during the day or evening. Since the original launch in 2016 it has been followed by Good Girl Suprême, Légère, Gold Fantasy and the new Very Good Girl range – all have proved very popular.

A long-lasting perfume from Mugler aimed at the 20 something woman. This Amber Floral fragrance containing tropical hints of coconut, was launched in 2021 and has quickly gained popularity helped by the advertising campaign using Willow Smith (daughter of Will Smith & Jadae Pinkett) to embody a new vision of femininity that is strong, powerful, inclusive & “edgy”. A refillable bottle that is available in 3 sizes – 30ml, 60ml & 90ml. The 100ml refill is also available or like the original Alien perfume it can be refilled using our in-store refill station.
The original has now been followed by an equally appealing version – Goddess Supra Florale
A long-lasting (and as the name would suggest) a very feminine ‘explosive’ floral fragrance that has been much sort after since it’s launch back in 2005. An intense bouquet of fresh and sweet notes including Bergamot, Orchid, Rose, Orange Flower, Patchouli & Vanilla. Available in 3 sizes – 30ml, 50ml & 100ml, plus seasonal gift sets, perfumed body cream, hair mist and a very handy 10ml travel spray.
Contained within this ‘golden diamond’ shaped bottle is one of the most popular and best selling perfumes for young women. Year after year it is requested in our shop and proves to be a big hit when selected as a gift for a loved one. Available in 3 sizes – 30ml, 50ml & 80ml plus sort after seasonal gift sets. A long-lasting fruity floral fragrance for women that followed on a few years after the hugely successful 1 Million for men.

Since then, it has been followed by variations such as La Vie Est Belle Soleil Cristal, Intensément and Oui La Vie Est Belle to name but a few. Housed within a heavy glass bottle based on the classic Lancome bottle from 1949. Actress Julia Roberts is the face of the advertising campaigns. It is available in 3 sizes – 30ml, 50ml & 100ml, plus a 100ml refill bottle is also available.
The latest version, new for 2023, La Vie Est Belle L’Extrait has become a firm favourite with customers in our shop.
Recently released, this is the latest in the JPG Scandal range aimed at the 20 – 40 something woman. A long-lasting Amber Floral perfume contained within the well known bottle with its iconic ‘legs’ stopper. This version follows on from the original Scandal and So Scandal. Available in 3 sizes – 30ml, 50ml & 80ml Eau de Parfum. This has been a best seller not only in-store but online as well.
