Summer to Autumn Transitional Fragrances
Autumn is well underway with the chillier days drawing in the leaves changing colour it may just be time to change up your fragrance. It can be difficult to find a fragrance you’ll love so we’ve compiled a list of some of our favourites here at Scentstore that you may fancy trying yourself.
Mugler Alien Goddess Intense Eau de Parfum
One of my personal favourite summertime fragrances is Alien Goddess, so when I heard there was an intense version releasing I was super excited to see what it would smell like. Alien Goddess Intense is what I like to call an Autumn/winter version of its predecessor with a cosier feel. At the top of this fragrance, we are introduced to a blend of Tangy Bergamot and a new addictive note of Cream of Coconut whilst at the heart Opulent Jasmine Grandiflorum & Captivating Jasmine Tea add some depth to the fragrance. Adding to the cosy feel of this fragrance are Sweet Madagascar Vanilla Infusion, Sensual Benzoin & Soft Cashmeran, all of which add warmth and depending on how it dries down some powderiness too.

Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Absolu Eau de Parfum
 
Just because the colder days are setting in doesn’t mean that you have to have a warm or spicy fragrance. For those who still love something on the fresh side, Acqua Di Gio Absolu is sure to be your next favourite with its fresh opening and slightly warmer undertones. An opening of Sea Notes & Bergamot gives this fragrance a fresh burst whilst Geranium, Lavender & Rosemary add an aromatic feel. Tonka Bean, Patchouli & Woods give the fragrance its warmer undertones compared to the original Acqua Di Gio meaning you may find that this replaces your fresher summer fragrance.

YSL Libre Le Parfum
Libre is one of my favourite fragrances for spring so when I heard about Libre Le Parfum I was excited to see how it would smell. It’s a fragrance that myself and my colleagues have loved spraying since its release and it makes the perfect transitional fragrance. Zesty Bergamot, Fresh Mandarin, Spicy Ginger & Soft Saffron accord open this fragrance giving it a slightly warmer and spicier feel compared to the previous releases. At the heart are notes of Sweet Orange Blossom & Aromatic Lavender which the Libre line is famed for. Comforting Vanilla Bourbon, Sweet Honey accord & Earthy Vetiver are at the base of this altogether comforting yet sophisticated fragrance.

Paco Rabanne Phantom Eau de Toilette
Phantom is a fragrance that catches many of our customers’ attention due to its uniquely designed bottle. Although Phantom has a fresher opening its warm, earthy and smokey notes create an almost comforting scent that is ideal for this time of year when you don’t want something too warm or spicy. Addictive Lavender and energising Lemon give this fragrance the slightly fresher feel I mentioned earlier, whilst at the heart is a blend of Creamy Lavender, crisp Apple, Smoke, Earthy Notes & Rich Patchouli. A base consisting of Smooth Vanilla, soft Lavender and woody Vetiver creates a warmer dry down which works well with the previously mentioned notes.

Parfums de Marly Delina Exclusif Eau de Parfum
For those who may be familiar with the array of brands we stock here at Scentstore, it would come as no surprise that we have included A Parfum de Marly fragrance in this list. Delina is famous for its Rose and Lychee notes however Delina Exclusif is extra special, not only is it more intense but it has a slightly ambery feel. bright Pear, sweet lychee & zesty Grapefruit give the Exclusif its fruity feel whilst the heart consists of the all-important Damascena Rose note as well as Incense & earthy Vetiver. Warming Vanilla, soft Musk & Evernyl are at the base which combined with the other notes create a delicious yet sensual fragrance.

Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Infrared Eau de Toilette
When I think of cosy and spicy fragrances my mind immediately goes to Viktor & Rolf. Spicebomb Infrared has that same spicy feel as the other fragrances in the Spicebomb line however Infrared feels slightly warmer with its note of chilli. Red Berries Essence & Saffron Accord open the fragrance followed by Habanero Chilli Pepper Accord & Cinnamon Leaf Essence at the heart. Benzoin Resinoid & Tabacco Accord are at the base of the fragrance creating a beautiful spicy blend good enough for those chillier days.
