Guerlain SUMMER COLLECTION 2015

It’s here and it’s my favourite Guerlain collection, the weather may not have quite reached the Summer mark yet but you can certainly feel a little more upbeat with Guerlain’s latest cosmetic collection. The idea behind this collection is that the brunettes and the blondes are separated (sorry redheads!) – of course you can mix and match but as a blonde I simply love the latest collection. Aimed at beach-lovers, Summer 2015 from Guerlain launches, waterproof eyeshadows (amazing!) and water resistant foundations.

First up, the best-selling Terracotta Bronzing Powder gets a limited edition silicone sleeve to brighten it up a little (making it easy to find in your bag!). Blondes, you have a an amazing aqua colour and brunettes a gorgeous coral. As they’re removable, when you run out, you can pop the sleeve on your next purchase of Terracotta Bronzing Powder. Remember, when you use a bronzer on the face, do a ‘3 shape’ on each side of the face to get a super natural bronzed look.

Limited Edition Terracotta Sun Compact Cream Foundation – this little beauty is water resistant, again coming in two colours Sand (for the blondes) and Bronze (for the brunette). In a chic white palette with a sponge, it’s easy to top up on the beach or on the go – it’s got an SPF20 in it too!

Terracotta Sun Moisturiser (Tan Booster) – Of course the Guerlain Summer collection wouldn’t be complete without these limited edition beauties, repackaged to fit in line with the rest of the collection. With a tan-boosting formula, an SPF30 (for blondes) and an SPF15 (for brunettes) you can’t go wrong, It has a gorgeous smell of Tiare Blossom too, being light enough for use on the face.

Summer Shadows – These gorgeous cream eyeshadows are limited edition and the Blue Ocean colour is for the blondes, whilst the White Sand is for the brunettes. Being a cream makes this eyeshadow workable and can be built on (layering) for a more vibrant look. Of course the genius thing with these eyeshadows is they’re completely WATERPROOF, who said you have to go all natural to the beach?!

Rouge Automatique – Rouge Automatique lipsticks are fantastic as with one hand you can push up, use and push down the lipstick making it great for those beach trips or on-the-go top ups. Long-lasting and hydrating, these lipstick shades are limited edition! Fluo Stiletto is a bright pink and aimed at the blondes, this shade is my favourite ever Guerlain lipstick – with a large range in my cosmetic bag that certainly is a statement. Yellow It-Stick is aimed at the brunettes and at first glance (an image doesn’t do it justice) I will admit I thought this one looked vile. Fear not, it comes out as a soft gold glitter on the lips so it’s perfect for a summer evening spruce up.

La Laque Couleur – This nail varnish is again limited edition and is this season’s must have ‘700 Ocean Blue’ colour, with an enhanced glossy shine, this long-lasting varnish is designed for the blondes but of course can be used by any hair colour.
143 Nahema is a refocus in this collection for the brunettes. A lovely coral to match the Terracotta bronzing powder.
