The creation of her debut perfume Kim Kardashian began at the heart of social media, where Kim made the most of her extensive Twitter followers by asking them to recommend scents they liked in order to create a fragrance that she could truly share with her fans.
Working closely with master perfumer Claude Dir of Givaudan, Kim created a modern perfume for the modern woman. “When I started developing my fragrance, I really took inspiration from the feminine, pretty things I surround myself with – I thought about what makes me feel confident and special, and translated that into a scent that all women can enjoy”
The signature women’s perfume is a feminine Eau de Parfum with top notes of Mandarin Orange, Honeysuckle and African Orange Flower. The heart notes are Jasmine, Tuberose and Gardenia with a base of Tonka Bean, Jacaranda Wood and Sandalwood notes. It is an extravagant and glamorous perfume that embodies the many facets of its creator. The predominant note is Gardenia and the fragrance lasts well on the skin. The scent was launched in 2009 in a dark stylish spray flacon and is available to buy in three sizes of Eau de Parfum spray – 30ml, 50ml and 100ml.
