Bvlgari fragrances never seem disappoint and celebrating the 130 years of existence and the successful launches of Bvlgari Man and Bvlgari Man Extreme, they launch the new Man In Black to hit counters today.
As you must have seen, beards have gone wild (literally) and are now the latest thing for the gents. The ad for the new fragrance features a handsome fella with an impressive beard and his back on full show. With a volcanic background, this advert shows the more daring side to the previously well-groomed fella’s in the adverts. It definitely catches the eye.
The fragrance is inspired by the myth of the birth of Vulcan, the god of the earth, interpreted in a way that suits the modern man. The notes in the fragrance make it an oriental ambre fragrance and it’s super long-lasting on the skin. The depths of this fragrance are enticing. Upon the opening of the fragrance, the most distinctive note throughout is the famous and well-loved, Rum. It’s an edp too (which is rare for men’s scents) – proof it’ll last.
Top notes: Rum and Spices. Middle notes: Leather, Tuberose and Iris. Base notes: Benzoin, Tonka Bean and Guaiac Wood.
The bottle sits nicely along side the others in the Man range, whilst standing out. Keeping the same shape and the design, the bottle has a rougher feel to it and is jet black with rose gold font and detailing.
I imagine the wearer to be a unique, masculine and spontaneous male that likes to look after himself and likes to wear a spicy aftershave.I love this fragrance and think it’s hit counters at just the right time – We’re all thinking of Autumn now that September has come along so quickly.
